When you do get the chance to Port it to Steam, it will make it easier for people like myself and other Youtubers to push your game out to the public. unfortunately not many average gamers use Itch,io, so it does get a little difficult for us to get Subs to purchase it. (SMALL SPOILER) hello Adam, a small detail: in the woods in front of the house where the dead deer on fire is,you can clearly see the alien spawn breaking the immersion,could you address this in a future update maybe making it spawn before we can see the scene? keep up the good work
Episode one was amazing. Do you think it would be possible to have Unreal 5 compile a native linux version? i tried running it in Proton, and it does run, but however the frame rate was really bad. Watched part 1 by CJU the other day and now Ive watched it 4 times by 4 different streamers and I see new things everytime, like the dirt on the windscreen when you pass a streetlight small details, if you watch it in anything less than 720p its not noticeable.
This game is the best Ive seen for a long time, Graphic's, sound, atmosphere, everything is simply AWESOME.
I am really looking forward to part 2 because its going to be mind blowing.

I love extraterrestrial stories like this and this game gave me chills. This is a perfect game for my dad, he’s a sucker for things like this and more. I live in an area heavily filled with ufos/aliens and this game tells here as well. Well done Dev. 🖤
Once in a while an indie game comes along that just absolutely smashes it out of the park, and Adam, I have to say sir - congratulations on this exquisite gem of a horror game. From the haunting atmosphere, to the superb soundscape, to the level design, everything about Chordosis (Chapter 1) resonates on such a level it transcends the genre.
This has also been released at a time when there appears to be a resurgence of all things 'alien' esque, which definitely had my blood pumping whilst playing. I loved the fact that you start in an RV which makes you feel safe and secure and the little details from being able to interact with practically every item (even swimming to other areas) shows the passion, dedication and attention to detail that you have imbued with the game.
I especially loved the fact that the epilogue gives you an insight into the next chapter, and is actually playable! Unfortunately on my video I hadn't updated my graphic card and there's some laggy framerate around the 40 minute mark for about 10 mins - this is solely down to me and not on the game itself.
An amazing game from an amazing developer - still can't believe this was done by a sole person. Well done sir.

While Adam's said the Steam version is in the works, you can actually add non-Steam games to your Steam library. There's plenty tutorials online that shows the trick of it.
I can think of very few words to describe the haunting beauty of your game! That unease of the atmosphere the 'did i really just see that?' movement you barely catch in the corner of your eye. just amazing, I look forward to more!

I think I skipped a bunch of the game. I picked up the gas can, went to fill it and couldn't find it in the inventory. So I left the van and ran. Went through the floor and into the light. Previews for the next episode. I don't like that gizmo you have to use. A regular inventory would've been great. The graphics look great and it ran well.
Im not afraid to said that this game could be GOTY if it wants. Incredible sounds, atmosphere, grafics and a story that you want to play over and over again to discover whats going on!! Better than lots of AAA games.

first of all ,it's nice to see Adam is active again and (from his interaction under some youtube videos) seems to be doing well.The game looks like it has nothing to envy it's predecessor,it's abvious that the strong point is the audio compartment,even more then Adam Lost memories.It's full,rich,articualte,like if the sound design alone is trying to tell the story and is trying to make us FEEL what sadie is feeling .I see a lot of potential in this title.The graphics look great,but in my case i'm heavily limited by my Gtx 1080 :( . The game has never crashed on me,but ,as espected,has a few small bug: 1) in the section when you have to go inside the cement pipe you have to jump in order to get on the same plane as the pipe to be able to crouch ,2) while walking on the street in the first section you can briefly see some cables running across the screen never to be seen again.Other than that i experienced no bug/glitches.I only have 3 complaints: 1) i'm the kind of player who tends to explore a lot but i felt like i missed a few things while playing and a youtube video confirmed me this,a few times i wanted to go back and check another area before progressing but the games was scripted to only let me go foreward, 2) i'm not the kind of player who enjoys having a gun in an horror game ,it makes me feel like i can fight and be in control (2 things that stop me from being scared) but if this is the direction you want this game to take i'd suggest you improove the mechanics behind using the gun(s) since it feels sloppy like if i'm tryind to use the gun with a broken wrist, 3)walking up and down ladders feels like i'm getting launched in space,please have a look at that .Hope this project goes as you wish,i can't wait for future updates

I got stuck at the end of the Demo, I didn't find anyone who had done a Gameplay in that area, I don't know if I'm hallucinating or something can be done to open those doors... hum...

There is no controller support, right? I have a colleague who wants to play it but if it's not with a controller he doesn't feel comfortable, I was looking at it but I think there is no support. You'll have to see how I play xD

Lenyűgöző hangulat és környezet, olyan mintha Silent Hill kelne életre csak sokkal jobban :). Egy dolog zavart viszont mégpedig az, hogy én személy szerint amint lehetett kiszálltam a járműből, mert gyalogosan akartam kiélvezni a nyomasztó, ködös, elhagyatott környezet minden szegletét, benézni mindenhová stb. Szóval én gyalog mentem végig így viszont egyes kommentárok illetve a benzines feladat okafogyottá vált, pedig jó volt felfedezni a benzinkút területét meg megcsinálni amiket kellett.
WOW! Just WOW! This is by far THE BEST ALIEN HORROR GAME I have ever played, and one of the BEST INDIE HORROR GAMES I have ever come across! Im Impressed with what the developer has achieved creating this game all by himself, i can not wait for the next episodes! 10/10! ok.. i did really enjoy this game the visuals are great and the atmosphere is super creepy, but i dont think you should have released this as a episode 1 and 2 when that does come out. i think you should have made a small 10-15 demo and made episode 1 and 2 into a full finished 2-3 hour game. this episode felt abit empty, felt like i was missing something. from the small demo of the episode 2 feels like it will be more of a proper game and im excited to play that when it does come out! also a lot of fps lag. i have a pretty decent build and i had to play on medium settings and dlss on quality. again dont get me wrong this was a good experience and i enjoyed but i just wish episode 1 and 2 was just one long game!
I noticed the game actually Heavily Rewards exploring in areas beyond the direct storyline. if you stop the RV when you see a light flicker on the road and check it out or walk around more. you'll find items and events (Also some dangers, so crouch and be careful) that will pull the story more together. I believe his intent was to have gamers explore around the area more.

Hey! I heavily recommend using the official itch.io software on your PC.
It works the same way as Steam does, and as I almost daily push out updates for CHORDOSIS, you will always play the most recent versions with it.
An update from even the earliest builds is about 150mb and adds more settings and new areas to discover.
I'm an instant fan. This was so cool and immersive; I really felt like I was the character I was playing. Can't wait for more!

Really great first impression! The graphics are amazing and the atmosphere is top tier. I only have 2 critiques on it.
1. Gamepad support is pretty rough
2. Text in the menus and interface are really small
